This bit has great control for pre-drilling your holes in the front and back legs for seat to leg joints or for attaching arms and the headrest. It is a multi-stepped drill bit which is paired with the Spax #10x3" Flat Head Zinc All-Thread screws allows you to take the screws out and reassemble the joint in hardwoods like walnut with out causing deterioration of the threads. You can also use this in the drill press.
